So anyway,
I'm back to going to the gym everyday this week now that my arm is more or less healed (still a little purple, but feeling good). As you'd know if you ever saw me, I'm not a serious body building freak, but I go to the gym because I've heard that moving is good for your health, or something, and I really enjoy the 80's new wave music they play there.
Of course, the thing about gyms is the locker room. Now I've never been one of those people who has an issue with locker rooms, but showering in public is something that I only do when there are no other options. I usually don't shower at the gym because I live about 5 minutes away so there is no reason for me too. Given the choice between public showeing and private showering, I will always choose the later, and I think most guys my age would do the same.
But those older guys...damn...they likes them some public showering. What is it with people over the age of 40 that they seem to desperately want to get naked in front of other men? And I'm almost sure its not a gay thing...this is not one of those kind of gyms. But these guys really want to maximize their naked time. They'll get undressed first, then they'll shower, shave, weigh themselves, shave again... And even when getting dressed, they really seem to want to maximize their penis exposure time...and that really creeps me out. They always put on their shirt first...then socks...then tie...then cummerbund (okay I made that up) and pants always come last.
That this isn't a gay thing actually creeps me out more. But the fact that I notice al this creeps me out the most.
