this weekend i threw a party in nj at my folks' house since they are currently in France. it started off good but ended in a bit of a drama fest. before that there was a bottle-rocket war and some playlist rivalries.

who knew a summer bbq could turn so competitive?

This morning I received some spiritual healing. I went to an old japanese man's apartment in brooklyn who has developed 35 years worth of knowledge in meditation, ionic purification, yoga and other tools for releasing blockages from the subconscious mind. what was amazing about it was the directness he took in pointing out some specific areas of my past and present that were causing confusion...

thank god this freakishly hot a humid weather has snapped back to normal. i've been sweating my tackle off on the top floor of my apartment building in my tiny stuffy bedroom. i guess i do need to buy an ac unit sooner than i thought.

I cant believe the World Cup starts in June! I'm pretty obsessed with soccer right now. France is playing Mexico in a friendly game on saturday and I cant wait to watch it.

i think i'm going through an existential period in my life and wondering about the meaning of it all.

i look at a lot of the people in the world, the ones who are successful and who people admire and i look at them and see a bunch of assholes. its been said that we live in a 'culture of corruption' and maybe its true....

I went to a good friend's wedding last night. It was weird seeing him get married off and I was so nearly late to the ceremony (i was in the wedding party) due to horrific traffic leaving NYC, but it was a hell of a shin dig. I got pretty ripped on vodka and tequila and danced my ass off. And as a bonus I...
