Enough is enough


I had a routine that I needed to change
All my activities were feeling the same
The things I was doing were beginning to strain

Enough is enough
I had to get out of the rain

With my kit and caboodle and pocket change
I decided upon hitching a train
I bought new clothes and I traded my name

Enough is enough

But I was still homesick while crossing the plains
I took three aspirin but still felt the pain
Of loving someone more then I can explain

I looked at the skies almost every day
I knew the clouds weren't going away
But the boy in me still needed to play

I went back to get damp in the rain




The seas


I swam the seas;
The waves
I encountered
Were for goodbye

Having discovered
I enjoy getting wet
I dove like a gull
Hoping to surface again
