So we finally gave the proverbial middle finger to Hollywood this weekend. We looked for apartments and houses in Long Beach for most of the day yesterday, and although we came up empty-handed (we only looked at a small handful of places on this, our first round) it felt like a thousand breaths of fresh air had been blown into my previously deflated sails. I'm not giving up.
