I just got back from vacation and am nice an relaxed. Why couldn't I have been a trust fund baby and not have to work? Paris Hilton sucks for that alone. I could get very used to being on permenant vacation.

My friend has a 15 year old who does it and he tapped into her account and archived all of her chats. He found out some pretty interesting stuff I must say!
All I know is I'm going to freak when my little girl goes through all of that!
I would love to go to the BSO with you! I get season tickets to the Oregon Symphony but didn't this year because of money. I normally get the Symphony Sunday package (which is general admission so I can get there early and get great seats), the children's package, and select some evening concerts that I want to attend. The trouble is that I always buy two adult tickets and have to find people to take since my bf won't go. I usually take my mom since she took me when I was young and gave me the appreciation for it in the first place.

Hello all. Had a very nice weekend, went to some family stuff, hung out in the nice weather etc. Nothing really exciting happening. Didn't hear from the hex after that email exchange. Good.

Well what I like to do, what I actually do, and what I can reasonably expect to do in my current situation are all very different.
I do a lot of stuff with the kids right now... my son is 7 1/2 and in a bunch of camps this summer as well as year round sports. My grandmother is currently going through health issues including dementia and I try to spend as much time with my grandparents as possible... giving my grandfather a chance to escape that reality for a few hours and enjoying what is left of the amazing woman that she was.
I love to travel and write. I haven't been able to do much of either since I had my children, but I started an Africa fund and hope to take the kids there when my son is 12. It's a long ways off but when you have college funds and a mortgage (and want to go out to dinner once in a while) money isn't as easy to save. Writing and reading are my other passions but it seems that I never have time to think let alone endulge in such selfish desires these days.
I know it will get better but I'm starting to think that I need to do more for myself. I actually do scrapbook quite a bit.. I've got thousands invested in the craft and have every tool and supply imaginable. It's a sickness really... and I hate to admit that I'm so hopelessly domestic!
