Missed the Morrissey shows here, unfortunately, but have heard that they were phenomenal. But those fans...well I didn't miss them at all. They've been at this for years, and a strong dose of potent tranquilizers is probably in order.

I'm happy you have Thanksgiving plans with your family. That's what it's all about. New England does Autumn very well as well, and I love this time of year. There's something electric, fresh and bracing about the air that mingles with the vibrant, violent shouts of the dying leaves...the passing of the past and the promise of new things to come.

So many great things happen when I take a week off from SG. My addled brain has just realized that arachne is no longer grey (see? our foresight in keeping her on our friends list wasn't foolish optimism) and must go say hello.

It's always terrifically sad when someone disappears from the fray around here... part of the appeal of even writing a journal here is that I know for every one I write, there's like a billion others to read. And when the good, interesting ones go grey... But never fear! People often come and go, I know I have over the years... so don't delete! I can't wait to see Shaun of the dead...
