Beautiful cliched snow on Christmas day... stuffing yourself full of turkey, potatoes, gravy, and cheese... seeing people return but knowing these are truly the last days... dragons of gold, aubergine & azure emblazoned on a night black stocking... feeling not closer, but father away... a massive quilt of games, twister and chess, made during countless hours in your mother's tired hands.. the smell of rubber burning on ice, pushing a car out of stuck and into some lost patch of the night... jungles found in the most surprising places... a mirage of champagne disappears in the blink of an eye... endless bus rides made bearable through a healthy dose of iPod and imagination... a quiet apartment needed in which I can meditate and forget all my worldly ills.

I'm still missing that last one.
