Happy Birthday Ophelia!
Today I went to work and that was that. I got a promo of the new Rasputina cd, as well as a recently reissued Metal Boys album. I also have a new favorite label - Mio Records.. and a new album to add to my list of all time greatest albums ever, which happens like once in ... never. Go enjoy some Jean Cohen-Solal!
I then ran into a friend of mine on the bus who'd been through some rough times recently, that I was entirely unaware of until today. So we went record browsing, book browsing, and clothes browsing.. which was the most fun of the three. I started picking out and creating all these cute outfits for her... and she's like.. "does someone have a sublimated interest in Fashion? You are totally TEH GAY, you silly fag!" Of course that's mostly true.. but I carried on about lines and matching fabrics and summer colors and killer combinations.. of which she ended up buying one, (she could only afford one) but she'd been having a tough time so I got her the other one.
As you may have heard, I intend to attend Prom in San Francisco, so I hope to see you there if you're planning on coming. Should be a dream. (ps. don't ask me what I'm wearing.. I'm not telling anyone.. it's very top secret!)
My birthday is fast approaching and I'm having a difficult time deciding what I should actually do on it? Karaoke? Immediatist Potluck? Restaurant? Pool?
Any suggestions?

one of mine too. I've also been known to have Down To The River and Lonesome Valley blaring in my truck from time to time. The whole record is great though
