Hmmm... I have the feeling that I've been living in my head too much recently.. overly solipsistic. I mean my work essentially involves me talking and e-mailing disembodied voices all over. It's weird. So I resolve more in person grooviness. I think I need to back off on my internet usage as well.. which has been ridiculously high of late. I've been withdrawing into my logical nexus too often - more physicality, more socializing!

As Bey put it "they've tricked you and made you hate your body".. so I'm trying to fix that.. more badminton, more swimming, more excersizing. Drown myself in sensual physical pleasure.. go Cyrenaic philosophy!

Ironically, I speak of keeping the "real life" in my real life.. but I had my 2nd unusual SG moment (the first being when I met ticktockticktock) today, although indirectly. I'll explain..

I was riding the bus with my peep SG Tiamat today and we're chatting about standard fare, the insane financial and related stress of studentdom, and the bus stops. This incredibly beautiful and completely stylish girl comes up to us and says to Tiamat.. "I love your baking shoe, it's totally cute".. in one of those 5 sec moments that feels like several moments Tiamat and I look confused at each other - I looking her up and down for a glimpse of this baking "shoe". Then, eureka!, my brain's gears churned into motion and I realized the girl said "Baking Shoot" (referring to Tiamat's SG set) and told Tiamat, who managed to say a quick thanks before her admirer disembarked.

Tiamat was all nervous and funny afterwards. Quite amusing. Go Tiamat!

In other hot hot hot news.. I'll be hitting the wintry shores of our lady of the snows - Calgary this New Years' and will get the hang with the SG C-Dot crew. There's the small matter of personal threats of violence from Ticktockticktock, Leningrad, and Freakpirate. I'm not sure how I'm going to get out of it.. as my quick wit and silver tongue are getting a bit tired these days.
We'll see.

I also think I may have accidently bothered someone on here.. for that sin.. I apologize.. no ill intent was there. Hopefully they read this and realize I'm talking about them. I'll give them some space.

So you'll see less of me on the boards, and more of me in person.. at SG Christmas Vancouver.. and also what I now dub the Victoria invades Calgary New Years Bash.

Should be fun..
