So last weekend I jetted away to BC for a few days for my sister's graduation. There's nothing like arriving home to a 33 pound organic turkey and a giant bottle of wine.
My duties of the weekend were to be my sister's escort to the dance and party. My job was essentially to prevent her passing out in the woods or being assaulted by the biker gangs that tend to show up at small town graduations throughout the interior of BC.
But it mostly ended up me being groped by a lot of 17 year old girls who were desperate to try to get me to imbibe as many substances as possible - Budweiser, varieties of hard liquor common to a tailgate party (Crown Royal and vodka), and of course to smoke a lot of Spiderman's girlfriend.
While normally I'd be awash in substance abuse and I quote "go into the woods so we can give you some of the really good stuff" [sic] I had to watch my sister and prevent her from falling on a giant pallet bonfire or off the back of a pickup truck, while dancing music I never want to hear again to the visuals of a lazer light show.

However having strange country girls suckle spilled Courvoisier (I shit you not) off your hand and personally humiliating a girl who caused your sister undeniable grief and my Nanny's (grandmother) apple pie made it all worthwhile.. as well as making my sister's grad one to remember.
