time to talk to the journal...

I just finished breakfast/ lunch of leftover crepes smeared with cream cheese and jam. I know I'm not supposed to have cream cheese but it is the best hing on earth so I ignore the little voice of my inner physician explaining to me once again that I shouldn't be consuming milk because it will aggrevate my lupus. Oh...

I am supposed to be making dinner right now, but obviously am not. Tonight I am making crabcakes and I don't know what else. I probably should make an attempt at finding a crabcake recipe because for some reason last time they just weren't spicy enough. I've still got a few hours though, and I am a horrible procrastinater.

The weather is shitty here, I've...

catdad:
I think you are probably right, at least with some people. I haven't had seasonal allergy problems although I'm mildly allergic to common things like dust, mold, cats, and dogs. The depression runs on my mom's side of the family, but they all seem to have it in the fall.

We've had some rain lately, but in my opinion, this has been one of the nicest winters in a long time. Lots of dryspells with crisp mornings and sunny days. Even some of the people who came up from our offices in SoCal were impressed, especially with the view of Mt. Hood as they approached PDX. Lame in the snow and cold department, but a great winter otherwise. We'll probably have bugs galore this year.

I wish Liz Phair would knock on my door right now.

The spring depression thing is well-documented. I know what you mean about summer, I never sleep. The sun is so activating.

I think dinner sounds great. Appreciating food alone is better than not appreciating it at all.

monday: just like sunday except the doc's office is open so I can hear all about my GODAWFUL LABS. And the mail comes so I can remeber all about the bills I need to take care of. Yay.

Today is actually a beautiful day, warm and sunny and perfect for raking leaves. I'm planning out my garden, the placement of my tomato plants and my...

ugh. bad morning. I am still snowed over from the meds I took last night to keep me out of the ER. Yucko. I need to go see my doc, who I won't be able to pay, and get more meds, which I won't be able to afford. I'm heading up to Maine in March, and I'm gonna work for two weeks doing some odd...

Hah, whipped cream cans? We just sell the nitrous cartridges :-P
kinnie:
actually, we DO just sell the nitrous cartridges. There are two brands: EZWhips and ISI. They're for making your own whipped cream. And we sell crackers and balloons with them too. There are 24 cartridges to a case. Right now we've got a 3 for 2 (cases) deal, so they're going like CRAZY. It's really funny... i mean, it's completely legal, but it's so obvious what they're used for.

For all the telemarketers who call and ask to speak to Mr. such-and such: Fuck you and your patriarchal society. Almost as bad as the telemarketers who call and want to speak to my "mommy or daddy". I don't sound that young!

ok, time to update the journal.

I just finished my traditioonal southern breakfast- scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, and grits. Yum. Coffee is good, and I am waking up for the first time this morning, even though I have been out of bed since eight. A few new job opportunities on the horizon, and I may need to do some begging at the pharmacy....

I went on a very long bike ride today. It was my first bike ride in awhile, so I am very sore and tired but I also feel great because of the exercise and fresh air. I was delivering posters all over town, selling myself as a tutor, and I also picked up an application for a job at the library. I went to see...

So far, a good day. I am taking my resume to a few places today. I'm gonna talk to some connections of my mother's and hope that something comes of my efforts.

My guest arrived bright and early this morning. He is fast asleep in my brother's room right now. The bus ride was about two days straight. I have no idea how he got...

today is officially my "get a job at all costs" day.

I called the pharmacy place where I interviewed a week ago, and they told me they are still interviewing, so maybe... just maybe...

But, I'm now using every available option, name dropping being the first and foremost of those options. I just used my high quality english speaking skillls to write myself a pretty...
