Have you seen the new Slipknot video "Duality"? It's different from their old stuff but not as good.

You would think since FSU is in Tally there would be a big SG community there but i guess not. I think there is 37 or 38 SG members in Gainesville. I know of 5 UF students,including me, on SG and I'm sure there is more that i don't know of. Hmmmmm

Wasuup? You know. judging from your fav. girls list, I'd say our tastes are pretty similar. Christ, don't even get me started on Erin- I wouldn't even know where to begin. Suffice to say if I had a choice between fucking the holy hell out of anyone on the planet vs. just being able to have a conversation with Erin, it'd be no contest. Yeah. Ok, I'm gonna move on from that, because that's fucking pathetic. Except to say that you should see the length of the post I'm writing to her journal in another window- I take things way overboard sometimes. I dunno why I do this- sometimes I'm writing several messages at once in different windows. And many a time I've lost posts of enormous depth when I feeze up my system with too many open windows- like with a poem the other day that took hours and I'll never get back. This is my second attempt at writing THIS message, in fact. I think I mentioned all this in at least one or two long-ass posts to Adore's journal, in fact, which of course she ignored like most people do. On second thought I do know why I do dumbass shit like writing long rambling posts sometimes- it's a little thing called Attention Deficit w/ Hyperactivity Disorder. I'm a fucking mess. And on that note, the last few days have been kinda nuts- I accidentally dropped you from my friend's list. I was updating my journal and remembered I wanted to tell you something, and clicked your name without thinking- forgetting that doing so from the 'Edit Preferences' window deletes them. I don't even remember what I was going to say, but whatever- if you put through the friend request again, I'll approve it as soon as I get it.

Btw, what's the Florida Center for Interactive Media? Actually, what's a Graphic Artist, for that matter? Isn't that someone who does illustrations and logos for advertisements? Well, wait- I guess that would be one type, right? But the 'Interactive' part I would imagine means basically doing the same thing, only online?

Problem is, in the battle with reason, emotions always win. Btw, your "Danger Girl" set with Adore is one of my favorrites on the site. You did a really nice job with that. But don't tell her how much I like it, I think her head's swelled big enough already. And one more thing on the heart/head issue: logic sustains life, but passion is what makes it precious.

That second picture is actress Rachel Evan Wood in the film Simone. She's so beautiful, and I just find that picture so sad and touching. But I posted it to illustrate the idea behind that quote in my journal, which is from a Counting Crows song called Mrs. Potter's Lullaby (whose video is linked in the text of the quote- but I don't think anyone even pays attention to it when I link stuff in my journal- like when I linked to another RealPlayer stream of songs from The Cure's new CD box set a few entries ago). Anyway, it's wierd- "Adore" told me a few hours after I made the above post to your journal that you guys were involved for a long time after I asked her about the ring she wears in that set. Also, I'm curious- do you shoot film, digital, or both? I've always shot film thus far, and am currently experimenting with some long exposure kinda stuff with a Lomo Smena 8M (it's a Russian camera kind of like a Leica- see Lomography.com). But I'm thinking about finally taking the digital plunge (though not exclusively) with a Sony DSC-F828. Photography isn't my profession, so that's a "prosumer" camera in which you can't change lenses, which isn't really a requirement for me. But otherwise it's very impressive and groundbreaking. If I end up getting that and am happy with the results, or alternately upgrade to a higher quality scanner, I might offer to shoot a set for one of the 'SG hopefuls group' girls in NY or FL (I have a permanent house down in Central Florida- Melbourne, if you know where that is- it's along the coast near Cocoa Beach, and I'm sort of back and forth to NYC). Anyways, yeah, keep me posted on your progress as well.
