So today was my last day of classes as a first year law student. I cannot believe it. I still have a week of studying and then 3 finals - but it's still crazy. I also received an award today. Apparently I'm a champ at oral (ok, so oral advocacy, but it's sooooo much fun to just call it oral). This is a crazy award because after I was done with the first part of my oral, I had to choke back tears (while I was sitting in a Philly law firm conference room in front of 3 litigators, my professor and my TA) because I thought I had done so awfully - luckily I maintained and came back with a strong rebuttal - but from tears to award, you've got to color me shocked.

I miss lastof9. He's so nice to me. He got me presents for our 1 year anniversary. Me, naughty naughty girlfriend, got him nothing I'm so bad. I don't really do the whole anniversary thing - I suppose I'm waiting til I'm maried. But I promised to make it up to him and go do something romantic - like eat sushi - which I actually like to do better than he does. Maybe I'll have to think of something that would mostly be for him, yet is still romantic.

Oh it's so nice to do nothing tonight. I love to do nothing. There was a time when I would have been so frustrated that I wasn't partying it up on a friday - but now - no - law school has sucked out my will to party and replaced it with a love of nothing. Ahhh - spoken like a true lawyer.
