i just got my nose pierced, both nostrils. symmetry!!! but fuck they are bleeeeeeding. i feel like a cokehead or like i have been punched in the face. also i totally wussed out during the piercing and had to have OJ. wtf. i have had my conches pierced, hood pierced, four hour long tattoo session, and nose piercings make me all faint? i am cute.

The bleeding will stop soon...unfortunately, the soreness remains for a few days after (well, it did for me). Don't be so hard on yourself for having OJ - the other piercings were ones you really didn't have to watch. Watching a needle come at your nose is unavoidable.

i made the mistake of a nostril piercing during allergy season, so not only was it throbbing and red from the piercing, it felt just downright terrible from my allergies. but in the end all the blood, sweat and tears were well worth it.
