Okay, it's time for my Friday night movies, but this time not at the lake. Tonight it's the original 'Planet of the Apes' followed by 'Beneath the Planet of the Apes'. That's if I can stay awake.

They had a mass at my aunt's funeral back in April, and the priest that said the mass did an incantation for the whole service. It was weird....

LMAO, you thought that at your aunt's funeral? LMAO.....oh man. That is completely the kind of thing that I've done in the past.

Yes, it's ass cold here. SO cold I actually purchased my first pair of flannel jammies ever while I was at the mall this morning after work. It wasn't until I got home that I realized the pattern on them was of cats! I just grabbed my size and favourite colour and hiked it out of there. So, I got mine back. I shalt not make funneth of yon Winnipegians again. wink

The cats, well, sometimes. It's a vindictive thing. Merlyn was actually quite ill this past summer, and he nearly didn't make it. He would vomit up to eight or nine times a day, but a lot of that was the fact he was sick, and also because my former roommate used to kick the crap out of him when I wasn't home. (It's a long story) Now, with Stumbleine he is happier than a clam, and rarely gets sick unless he eats human food. EXCEPT for when I work on the weekends, b/c then Stumbleine is gone as well back home with her boyfriend. Sigh. It's a total "screw you mom, i'll show you what happens when you leave me all alone here all night." heh. Loki retaliates by destroying the kleenex or bathroom tissue, and they all run in circles and cause a general nuisance when I walk in the door. Knock books, and stuff off of tables. This morning my hand blender was on the floor from it't case on top of the fridge. Ya. I'm used to it. Little assbags.

Anyway, I'm babbling now, I talk a lot when I'm tired. Many apologies. Have a great Thanksgiving with your family. Pie and ice cram sounds yummy. I am jealous, but I shalt not poke fun in retaliation. I'l just.....make mashed potatoes and smile while I eat them. Have a safe drive. kiss

Sigh. I knew it was coming, I knew it was going to happen. I should have kept my mouth shut......

....it was freeszing rain on my way to school from work this morning. *ahem* Go ahead, you can laugh. It's okay. I deserve it after poking fun at your snow. Sigh. I suck. hehehe....the bad thing was that I procrastinated so much in going to work last night that I only left myself 15 minutes to shower and run the four blocks to the bus stop before I left last night, so I forgot my jacket. Gah! Double whammy. smile Thank goodness for oversize hoodie sweaters and hot laptops. Brrrrr.......

P.S. Cat lovers are cool. kiss
P.S.S. I agree, crows and blue jays really so suck.

It is official, I will be moving to a downtown office in November. Away from the Clinic I've worked in for over 20 years. I'll still be working for the same clinic, but I'll be able to focus on totally on Finance.

It was my choice and I requested it for several reasons, not the least of which is to get away from the rather...

And um.....do I just stare at Bam Margera on the TV? blush That would be telling. muhahahahaha.....

That's awesome that you got the transfer, though the traffic aspect of it stinks! I haven't had Indian food since I lived in California, and DAMN I crave it sometimes. It's so yummy and spicey and yummy and mmmmm.....goes well with the inevitable Maalox I have to take after eating it too. wink

Awww....poor putty. They know it's for their own good, they just like watching you run around with a syringe, hoping you'll trip, fall, and inject yourself. eeek Cats are evil like that. kiss

When I was young my family had a cottage at Winnipeg Beach. In downtown Winnipeg Beach there was an Esso gas station that was owned and run by Clarence the one-fingered mechanic. Clarence also liked to dress up like a clown and drive his 30s Ford in the little town parades that would occur once in a while.

Actually, poor old Clarence had more than...

Good or bad, it's always a war to American politicians, isn't it? Can't be a skirmish, can't be a determined action, can't be a focused effort, it always has to be war. confused
