Gosh, I never really realized until now how much that passage describes a lot of the winter in Winnipeg.

i was actually thinking i'd like it to be dark brown or black, with blue at the ends. but i don't know if i could do that evenly at home. i might have to go to a hair salon. i ran it by my manager at work, and she was okay with that, but i don't know how she'd feel if i had an entire head of blue hair. tongue

I bought 'The Brady Bunch' first season on DVD today. I can't wait to watch the 'Porkchops and Apple Sauce' episode. I'm assuming it's from the first season. Everytime I have porkchops, I end up doing my Humphrey Bogart voice impression of 'porkchops and apple sauce', just like Peter Brady.

I've almost finished Silent Hill 2 on PS2. I think.

Ah, you and yer mom are in my thoughts. frown I don't know sometimes what happens as we grow older. Harry Chapin's 'Cats in the Cradle' is too, too true. I suppose we do all have our own lives, and it unfortunately gets in the 'way' of those we love and care about. My dad and I used to be really really close. Like, talked several times a day close, and saw each other for coffee every day. But then, well, he got remarried, and I'm very happy for him now because he's finally happy. He so deserved to be happy. Sometimes when I remember how close we used to be though it makes me sad, because we were all each of us had for a long time. I guess I just miss hanging out with him. I was totally a tom boy when I was young, used to follow him around the farm for hours. I learned a lot though, and I'm thankful for the time we had. I just miss him. When we're young we never appreciate our parents enough.
