Well, I'm back again.
This week, I got my first ever revenue cheque for one of my films. A whole $23.72. Yay for me. I haven't decided whether to cash it or frame it. Maybe I should photocopy it and then cash it.
My aunt who was also my godmother passed away last week. She and my mother were going through chemo at the same time (they're not related other than by marriage). I drove out to Brandon for the funeral on Saturday with my dad and my relations from Kamloops. I have my annual medical managers conference at Kananaskis in June, so I've decided that I'm going to drive out and vacation in Kamloops and the area before the conference and visit my cousins out there. I'm bringing my bike and I can go white-water rafting and hiking too. Yay for me.
I think I'll skip Calgary since I don't know anyone there, I don't think, and I don't know the city very well at all. Last time I was there was for the 1993 Grey Cup game.
I'm going to see that German Hitler movie this weekend, plus that Born into Brothels documentary that won the oscar this year, plus that angels movie, Saint something or other. And perhaps I should get into shape before my vacation next month. My bike is taunting me about how lazy I've been.

My sis toured out west a few years ago and brought back pictures. It's so friggin beautifu. You will love vacationing there. bring bug spray and a life preserver jacket!
