Uh bla heeto
We're almost there. It looks like we've got the logistics of this upgrade/implementation of our computer network at work down. The computers start arriving next week, the training sessions for the staff start on Wednesday, the data conversion on Friday and everything will be peachy keen on Monday the 29th when everyone comes into work. RIGHT?????? Touch wood
Otherwise
I washed my winter parka yesterday, I kept putting that off, thinking I'd jinx things with this amazing weather, but I decided it was time...I got my id picture taken at work today...I was trying to decide whether or not to smile, but after spending $4000 getting my teeth straightened, I figured I should probably try to get my money's worth at every opportunity...so I smiled brightly...no doubt I'll look goofy in the picture...I hate both teams playing in the Grey Cup on Sunday...I'm glad I have a bunch of pool tickets to make the game interesting...customer service seems to be a lost art in many retail stores these days...there are a lot of people in the world who don't seem to be very bright...how elitist of me to say that...I'm starting to put together my latest idea for a short film...hopefully I'll end up shooting it in the next couple of months...nothing better than shooting when it's minus 30 or so...the crew ends up hating me, sort of...I'm going to a conference at Kananaskis in June of next year...paid for by my employer...last year it was in PEI and two years ago it was in Campbell River, Vancouver Island...sort of a nice benefit, I'd say...I'm rambling...I was born in the back seat of a greyhound bus, rollin down highway 41...well, no, actually I was born at the St. Boniface Hospital, back when St. Boniface wasn't a part of Winnipeg, so my birth certificate says I was born in St. Boniface...I hate my job...I love my job...and so on, and so on, and so on...
Oh yeah, and my friend Jenn plays at Dregs on Saturday evening. Go for the show and the samosas and the Italian soda
