Our wonderful loonie gained over a penny on the American dollar yesterday. Our economy is smoking, inflation is at 1.6%, unemployment's not so great, but it's not so bad. Our annual budget is balanced and the government will hopefully begin paying down the national debt more aggressively someday soon. The Liberals are putting a little more into health care, which has benefited my place of work directly. All this and I hate the Liberals, but I like minority governments. People around the world seem to like Canadians, too, or at worst, are indifferent towards us.
The American dollar is dropping like a stone everywhere. A balanced budget doesn't seem likely with a few wars going on and on. Overall, the American economy doesn't seem to be doing so well. I wonder why. Or maybe I'm just not looking at the whole picture.

blah i busted out and bought a bus pass for my job hunting.so weird with it getting dark so fast now.i keep thinking it's later than what it actually is.took myself out for sushi today..silly me.i could have bought almost a weeks worth of groceries with that 17$..but i finally got my cheque and thought since i went to a job interview. i would treat myself.
have to go back for a second interview next weds..lucky for me they still had me on file ...by just 4 days..lol..it's almost been a year since i last applied there.and u have to do 4 tests.lucky for me i passed them all first time around.i was not looking forward to having to do them again. if they couldnt find my file..cause i while sitting on the bus on the way in there, i was like" oh my god i forgot how to add, multiply, and minus fractions" and i could have done a refresher on the computer before going...haha can u believe i totally froze and forgot how to do simple math!!!.it's not my strongest .tho i aced the spelling quiz they give you 100%.lol.anyways it's lameass telephone work answering calls from at & t customers.
