My cat sleeps about 20 or so hours a day and when he's awake, he meows. And it's not just gentle little meows like he used to do when he was young, it's big, loud 'going to the vet in the car' meows. After he eats, he starts at it, after he pees or shits, he starts at it. Middle of the night, morning, whenever. Drives me crazy.

He's over 18 years old, and I thought maybe I should have gotten another cat after I had to have my Isis executed (sorry, 'put to sleep' I guess is the pc term, but that's not how it felt to me when I had it done to her), but I thought he'd just kill a new kitten (he used to like to fight). Maybe he's bored. Maybe a new kitten would liven him up.
