I went to see Harry Potter today. I had also planned on seeing 'Walk the Line' but the sinus headache started setting in with a vengence by the end of Harry, so I decided against it. A tear actually came out of my eye at the end of Harry, but it didn't affect me as much as when I had read the book.
Grey Cup today. I had planned on listening to it with my Mom, but that's not going to happen.
Last year I won $100 with one of the pool tickets I had purchased. This year I was only able to buy five tickets. Those are the only things that make the game interesting when the Bombers aren't in the game. Of course, last year I watched the game at HER place with her parents. Doesn't do me any good to dwell on past mistakes, though.
I'm extremely happy that the Turner Classic Movies channel has replaced The Latin Channel here in Winnipeg, even if that means no more of that soft porn show that seemed to be on every night. I got to watch an Edward G. Robinson movie at 3AM this morning when I woke up and couldn't breathe or get back to sleep. And he was a good guy in it.
