I know both your mom and dad are very glad that all their children are here with them right now. I think you've been doing a great job being there for both of your parents and the rest of your family.
I feel like my whole life's been on hold for the last month or so. I'm really glad I have such very good friends in this city who are used to me disappearing all the time and never take things personally. It's a lot easier to understand this time, too.

I went to see Harry Potter today. I had also planned on seeing 'Walk the Line' but the sinus headache started setting in with a vengence by the end of Harry, so I decided against it. A tear actually came out of my eye at the end of Harry, but it didn't affect me as much as when I had read the book.
I want to see Harry SOOOOOOOOOOOO bad but I'm not going to be able to afford it until it goes to the Rainbow Cinema after Christmas. Pooh. The end of the book made me cry. I have heard this movie is the best yet, so I hope it is. I was disappointed with the other movies.

My sister is making a 'lap quilt' for my Mom that will feature pictures of the eleven of us kids on it. I've been going around the last few days taking pictures of my siblings, but I had to rely on my sister to take pics of me. The result is that she now has to pick one of these ones of me:
We're setting sail to the place on the map
from which no one has ever returned.
Drawn by the promise of the joker and the fool
by the light of the crosses that burned.
Drawn by the promise of the women and the lace

It's the place where they keep all the darkness you need.
