Halloween Horror poll.

So, with the best time of year upon us, and the plethora of horror flicks on TV, what is everyone's favorites?

To start, all movies created by Hammer, Full Moon, Troma, and Castle have their charm. Independent horror was so good at one time. Where did all the horror go?

Happy Halloween. Tonight's the show, and I am quite nervous already.

I love the season change. Some people would be frustrated waking up to a cold morning and a frost covered winshield, or get depressed when 6:30 rolls around and it's already dark. Not me. I love a cold day, a sweater and coffee. It seems like all my best memories are from this time of year. October is by far the best month .

But I sure as hell will never miss the ignorant bliss. As a 6 year old I remember asking myself why people constantly told me they'd like to be 6 again. Hell if I knew why they seemed to want to be helpless and bored.

Give me knowledge --unwanted, depressing, demoralizing-- any old day. It beats living in a hole all your life.

I would have taken from the Tree of Knowledge so quick it would've made Adam's head spin.

Today I lay in bed until 2:30. I dont know if other people dream like I do, but sometimes when I am dreaming I will wake up, and if I am not happy with the dream, Ill go back to sleep and continue from where I left off, I guess in an attempt to change the outcome or to see where it will take me....

The new Coheed and Cambria album "In Keeping Secrets of the Silent Earth 3" is amazing. I've listened to it non-stop since last night.
The DVD material is hilarious, I just wish there was more, it's just a couple videos and 3 minutes of live footage.

School of Rock hit theaters today. I love Jack Black, and I love Richard Linklater (Waking Life is a masterpiece).
I wonder if it's any good.

hey man.. i'm from blacksburg and my band pretty much wouldn't exist without the solar haus. i wasn't at the show, but i arrived in blacksburg the next day. everyone is pretty shellshocked. i didn't know daniel martin either, but everyone is really pitching in to help out in a really positive way. keep spreading the positive words about the solar haus and try to fight these misconceptions about what went on at the show. it's a tragic accident.
