Venting time. went to breakfast today. Two ladies were seated near me. One was being ridiculously difficult w her order. Take this away and add that etc. had the server bring her plate back twice because she didn't like it. And they were very busy. Another women sitting across from them also heard the exchange and asked if they were from the east coast. Because she was a terrible costumer she must not be from California. Turns out they were locals. Born and raised in Cali. When the server came w my bill I left a huge tip and said you earned having to deal w that women. Gasp! And before I left I said to the other women that I'm from NY and that doesn't equat to being an asshole like her. Gasp again! Also to the very annoying customer I said lady if you things your way stay home and make it yourself and stop bothering people.
Then almost got hit by a car on my walk home because the driver was on their phone. I've met some really great people here since moving to California but I've also seen some of the most disrespectful, rude, arrogant, and selfish people ever.
