So! So so so. Here I am again.
It's been a pretty exciting couple of days at work, I've gotta say. Ever since I got my hair chopped off, people have been telling me left and right how righteous my moustache is. Seriously, there must have been a dozen people between today and yesterday. It's so exciting! My theory is that the ridiculous mop that took residence on my scalp detracted from the moustache too much. People saw too many curls and weren't sure which ones to focus on. They were thrust into a whirlwind of hair and handsomeness - a flury of bewilderment akin to the happenings of a Twilight Zone episode.
But the sorrow of an overlooked moustache is no more! Haircuts occurred and the game is on! My favorite one so far happened today. A little red-headed girl with a face full of freckles came up to the register with her father and she yells out, "Your moustache is so COOL! I love it!" It was excellent.
In other news... Knitzy and I have hyper-fast wireless internet and crazy digital cable at our new place. It's pretty radical. Last night we sat around and watched (well, I watched while she laptop'd away) American Gladiators. It was fantastic. I hadn't seen that show in such a long time... I wish it was still around so I could compete and totally out-gladiator all of the gladiators. Suckas.
My only sadness is that we don't get the Nickelodeon GAS (Games and Sports) channel. No late-night viewings of Legends of the Hidden Temple. That's probably a good thing, though. She hasn't actually seen me angry yet, and that show pisses me off to no end. Those stupid kids are just so damn slow! What's so hard about running through the temple?? Grab the ancient artifact and get out - it's simple arithmetic. And to not be able to do it in three minutes with TWO people? Ugh... I could run that ish by myself in two minutes and clown those fools.
I've got this awful pain in my knee lately. It's not all the time, only when I bend it, crouch down to the ground, or walk on it sometimes. It's a killer. I don't really know what caused it, but I'm thinking that opting out of the health insurance offered by my work in May was a big mistake. First, I get struck with a horrible case of tonsillitis, and now my knee is breaking. Or maybe it's just because I'm an old man... I AM going to be 24 soon.
I guess I don't really have a whole lot to write about, so hopefully this little spurt is good enough to keep you entertained until something totally exciting happens. I think I'm going to send my resume to PBS to see if I can snag some kickin' video editing/audio production job, so if anything good comes of that, I'm sure I'll flaunt my success all over the internet.
And for fun, some pictures!
