Windy city. WTF? It's June - summer time. Spring wind go away!
On the other hand, it's still 50-ish degrees at night. Hide inside during the day, live free and cool at night. Still toting a hoodie around in my backpack. Just noticed that M ripped the wrists off my favorite small red hoodie, where the thumb-holes are? She's like a cat, she can't help herself...
Such a geek. Started new Neal Stephenson novel, Ananthem. It's a trip looking over the frontismatter and seeing that you've read everything that came before. Oh god, so hot for neal. and neil (geiman). and trent. and a whole lot of other man-folk that i can safely idolize from a distance.
M and I watched cassablanca for the first time ever a few days ago. 2HB was running through my head shortly thereafter. We already have the first Roxy Music album. Still, the Venus in Furs cover of it is magical. So i finally bought/amzonmp3-downloaded the Velvet Goldmine soundtrack last night. I'm not usually one for soundtracks, but half of this one is by a band that doesn't actually exist. How can we beat that?
Sooooo magical.
Four Tet's "Everything Ecstatic" also. Wow. Pure aural glee.
