ahhhh, have any of you guys seen mystic river? if so what did you think. i read the book on saturday (at work. the whole book, work was that slow)
sean penn's howling sniveling tirades were pretty good i guess but the rest of the movie left me a bit off. i was expecting diologue in certain spots but the screen writers cut strange things out that to me tied the book together and gave reason to the character's action.

Still I will say from experience it's really hard to make a film adaptation that's true to the book. I think the screenwriters ego plays a large part in that.
