Brunch today with my cousins.
Remember how I had mentioned I needed to really work harder to keep these relationships.
So, I asked everyone to get together as step one. Step two is I did get Easter cards for my little cousins. I am taking small steps to get myself to where I want to be.

I recently learned that my father and his girlfriend have sold their house and will be traveling for the next year and then moving down South. He had been saying for years that they were going to move down south. It wasn't that I didn't believe him - well maybe I didn't - but I didn't expect it to happen so fast. I don't think they did either. She lost her job, which bumped up the traveling - and then they decided to sell the house. It sold in two weeks.

So...............there is that.
Daddy issues - I has them. Particularly abandonment daddy issues. I am a manipulative guy's wet dream. Thankfully I haven't met many of them.

I also go to see Laerkai and Cinderola today. Just for a short bit - but it is always nice to stop by and see them. The most adorable couple, I swear! I just adore them.

I did not make the most of my weekend - but I think I did pretty good. I have no regrets.

Life is changing for me. And I am ready to accept it - most of it anyways.
