Post the new photos. You can get digital cameras for really cheap these days. I finally got one a few months back at the drug store. After the mail in rebate (that I never got...HEY) it was (should have been) $89.00. So you can find inexpensive ones.
I know about the protection/standoffish thing. It seems like I have a hard time finding a balance. I don't want to smother or scare anyone with my affection, but I don't want to be seen as standoffish either or uncaring either...I am looking for something in the middle.
I am glad that things are going well for you with the boy. Communication is scary, but incredibly necessary.
