This lady was literally like the only girl close enough to my time period (the 1920's and 30's). She was going for 1918-1919 Downton Abbey lol. It was a blast and she was awesome!

As i've started to grow in college i've been getting out of the house more and traveling a lot. I've always loved traveling and when I get my degree in archaeology i'm planning to go to Paris, Rome, Venice, Cairo, and all the great historical places! I even want to travel to Nepal someday. Had a great time at Pirate Fest this year and I can't wait until next year to roll around again. The rain was actually fun and me an an old friend of mine Tara (check out her Etsy GearOils) managed to hide out from the rain lol and drink rum! I do have a slight rant though but not about the con just about people...

So finally the time has come for Pirate Fest tomorrow! I can't wait since it gets bigger every year so this year should be pretty epic! This year instead of going as Malcolm Reynolds i've opted to go as Indiana Jones and i've worked pretty hard on my cosplay for him. The only downside is that we've had a ton of rain these past few...

Thanks bestie. Music and teaching were always my two big passions. It's hard though to get back into the swing of it. I haven't had a voice lesson in at least 5 years, which is the same amount of time that I haven't read music or anything. You kinda lose it if you don't do it all the time. It would take a bit to get me back where I was before I left school, and it's crazy hard and expensive to get into music programs now. I'd have to audition and meet all these requirements. I might try looking into again at some point. :) @kyloren_sith

I think you should :) I used to be a violinist and I gave it up and to this day I still regret it. I played in a few symphony orchestras also. I miss it but it's too late for me. @CHELSEADAGER
