Quentin Tarantino does those style of films because he has a mindset like you. Most of his films are grainy and or a throwback to the old spaghetti western type films or the old pulp films of the 70's. You're totally right about the attention span. I mean so many people have a very short attention span and or just no taste for intellectually stimulating shows. Why do you think History Channel, A&E (which used to stand for Arts and Entertainment), TLC (which used to be The Learning Channel) are all reality shows? Because that's what people are into. Thanks for the feedback. I hardly ever drink at all anymore, as I'm what they call a recovering (?) alcoholic, but every now and the I find that a little booze is the least risky pressure release valve, compared to all the other drugs I also tend to over-do/ abuse (how's that for a lot of personal information from someone you don'tknow from the proverbial Adam lol?) - and no, the God's green grass doesn't count- but I digress.. I may still give this one a try, since I DO love plums.. if so, I'll get back at ya. Cheers.

Yeah. I honestly thought from some of the reviews that it would be lighter and fruitier since a lot of the reviews said it had a heavy berry taste. I thought i'd give it a try since I do like darker ales and quads and this one is a dark ale. For me it tasted way too much like an IPA and had a huge bitter taste mixed with spiciness from the pepper. It doesn't have a high hops content at all though it's very minimal but the ABV is 10% so that's most likely what is causing the extreme bitter taste. All in all I think i'll still with my Newcastle Brown Ale lol. @GIDEONSTARGRAVE
