Oh I remember, I was going to write about Thor.
Thor is the #1 movie. But, who is Thor? Do we really know that much about him? I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'm sure it isn't that close to it's original source material.
What source material do I speak of? Well, if you haven't been nauseated by my pompous attitude already, if it is possible to convey a pompous attitude through text, I would like to continue without being interupted any more.
I don't know if people noticed, but Thor was a Marvel comic book. Sure, he is a famous Norse hero, but Marvel comics shaped out a huge "universe" for him through hundreds of issues of The Mighty Thor.
Thor was also one of the original Avengers, along with the Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, the Wasp, and Ant Man. That is some pretty good company to be in (excluding the Wasp and Ant Man...) I mean the Wasp could fly in your ear and sting you... and Ant Man would.. well command an army of ants...
Ant Man was really Hank Pim, a scientist, so he would eventually use his shrinking serum and turn it into a growth serum to become Goliath. That was pretty cool. But still, you can see why you never heard of the Wasp or Ant Man.
Back to Thor. He's there. In the comics. There are hundreds of issues of The Avengers and there are hundreds of issues of The Mighty Thor.
I would suggest you go to your local comic book store and see who the REAL Thor is. He is a much more exciting character. Not that the movie Thor is bad, but nothing beats a comic book for pure fantasy.
