Met with a potential model today, much to my joy. It was a disappointing meeting. I have never met a more demanding person in my life. she and I butted heads on so many issues it was unprecedented. I can't work with someone if they are going to argue with me non-stop about what I, as an artist, has a right to call "art" and what she, as a model, has a right to call "pornography."
Bah.... Fucking.... Bah.....
She could have worked too, but she just kept being beligerant about every point and aspect of the job I threw at her. She belittled my modeling fee, which admittedly is less than I would like to pay, but christ I'm a starving fucking artist. She argued with me about what she was and was not willing to do, to the point were I had to verbally inform her that I was not asking her to masturbate for me on camera, nor should she fear for her morals because I was too ethically inclined to sleep with her (...and besides that she's so fucking high maintenance who wants the sexual challenge anyway!). She constantly put me on my guard to the point where I felt that I had to constantly defend myself in order to meet with her approval.
Who's hiring who?
I wanted to ask her why the fuck she wanted to model anyway? She had this laundry list of things she was unwilling to do for me, but she was willing to get naked. Eh? What the hell is that about?
Oh well, have one more to meet with before it's done. And I'm shooting one on Friday, if all goes as planned. After that, I'm going to have to resort to importing ladies in, or going to them. The ladies in this area are just too conservative and stubborn.

2. How do you deal with insomnia?
3. Heavy or light sleeper?

1. night owl, unless I get plenty of sleep then I can be a morning person
2. I usually read when I can't sleep, which works since I have so much reading to do all the time anyway
3. if I'm really tired, heavy sleeper, but usually I'm a pretty light sleeper
