Ahhh! I'm still getting used to all of the new adjustments on this site. Good things, but changes confuse me.
I'm sad. Someone hired a tree crew to come out to the house and chop off my squirrel branch near my bedroom window. ....Pout.... Now the squirrels can't come up to my window and beg to be let in.... Sad now.
I finally finished reading "Daniel Deronda." Bahhh! I hate not being employed any longer. My quiet reading time is down the drain since the shop I worked at went out of business.
Started reading "Wide Sargasso Sea" by Jean Rhys. It's a short, quick read. 189 pages, big print. If you read Jane Eyre, this is a fairly modern interpretation of Rochester's first wife, and how she came to be locked in his attack. Pretty good so far, I'm half way through.
It's pretty quiet here. Trev is downstairs studying, I'm sitting up here perusing.... life has become fairly regular... I should probably find a new job.... My painting has slacked off a little lately, say the last week. I don't know what's going on. Well, I know I am running down on frames, which means I'll have to buy more, but I have no money because I am unemployed and no galleries have taken my work yet and nobody has called me back for any of the applications I have filled out yet! Grrrrr......
Fucking unemployment.... I hate being idle....
I don't understand why, with my 8 years of retail experience that no one has called me back yet, even when they claim to be hiring! I was even desperate enough to apply to meijers, and they have not called me back yet! I only have about 4 months left of my unemployment benefits, I have to find something. Especially if Trev and I are going to be moving next year.
Grrr.... Fucking idleness....

I like you painting. It's from my blue set, no? I can't keep any of my old sets striaght.... I don't think you should be feeling bad about your painting abilities at all....... If you want to give me a print or copy, that would be fabulous.... I really like it. you should be stoked that you are talented....

Maybe if you put a bird feeder up to your window, the squirrels will perch on that to steal seeds.
