I should make a correction about the last entry. It turns out that the water area on the mall that was drained and smelly was not the reflecting pool, but a small adjunct. It had been drained to speed up finishing the new WW
II memorial, which opened a few days ago. So it was no evil plot against the March for Womens rights....
