well, almost another year completed at sfu. feels like this degree will never end. thank god the summer is almost here though. hiking, meatless bbqs, strongbow and the new little lady are all in order for the four months off i have. plus, in june i get to take her to see my sister in nyc. meeting family and all, biiiig moments, heh.

the robots are for a technological systems class i am in. i'm building a movement seeking robot thermin. he's pretty cool. as you move away from him, he knows where the movement happened and moves towards it. as you keep backing away he follows. the closer he gets, the louder and higher pitched his noise gets. it's quite weird, hah. but awesome! after this class is done, the sound goes and circular saws come out! :p
I had a customer tell me that some people had turned the Lego Mindstorm into a Robot that could sort marbles by color.... thought that was pretty rad since I know noting about the mechanics behind a robot.
thanksgiving was just what i needed. hanging out with family is pure bliss. my favorite thing about the weekend was hearing stories told from my grandparents. so much history and so much pride. beautiful really.
