So, first off, Happy almost New Year to all!
But, is it just me, or does it not feel like New Years at all?
I always feel like maybe changing of years, or even birthdays should feel like something. You know, how they always say "How does it feel to be..." But it never feels like anything. I feel like I'm supposed to feel something in my bones, maybe growing taller. But, it just doesn't happen, so I just don't get excited.
2004 was weird for me anyway. Bad shit went down, and good shit equally happened as well. Good things I can think of right now would be meeting Girlie andNBK66. It sounds really cheesy, but they kind of reminded me that there are some really good, fun people in the world who will be there for you. I never had that until I met them, and I don't know if they know how much I appreciate and love the both of them. Plus, they made my last teenage year birthday the best ever. I like being 19 because of them. *tear!*
Also, the meeting of other friends. And learning that there are sooooo many people in this world, and, I haven't gotten to meet half of them yet. I still have a bunch to go. And, the fact that I'll never run out of people-- It's all good!
Not to mention how there are people I've had for a long time in my life and they're still just fucking wonderful people (Lisa! Lisa!). She pointed out we've known eachother for about 6 years! That's so long for me, it's incredible!
Okay! enough of THAT!
I still haven't taken a shower yet. I will eventually.
Tomorrow I get to get new glasses and that sort of excites me. If the frames are cool enough, I'll wear them out of the house sometimes and switch with my contacts.
Lisa is an RA at Wagner College (at the top o' the Island, but it's a great school, on it's way to being Ivy League) and she's stuck there till Monday. It's too bad really, because I wanted to get drunk with her and act like a dumb ass this new years. Oh well. We'll make up for it next week.
Welp, that's aboot it for now. Hope y'all have a Happy and Safe New Years, if you go to the SGNY party, have a LOT of fun. I wish I could be there!
