Ok, so it has been a while...
My birthday was kicked off on the 22nd. I hope some of you made it to the BBQ. At one point there were so many people there I don't know who I said Hi to. The cops only came three times and the poker game was still going when I left to curl up next to a cutie.
May 23 -
My friend Alex English who is an awesome NYC pal, towed Andy Rourke (the Smiths) into town so they could dj over at Club Recognize. It was a pretty decent turnout for a Monday and I had a great time with Alex. I miss NYC. Later in the week, he dj'd with Martin Gore back in NYC.

May 25-
Boom Bip at the Casbah....Too tired to stay fo rthe whole set
May 26-
Petah Murphy and the start of my 4-day birthday blowout weekend. Peter Murphy was amazing, my review should be up on popmatters soon. I drank way too much sangria, but had a great time.
May 27-Woke up late and barely made it out for the Bitty Bums lunch at Lotus Thai. I believe that Lotus Thai cures everything. Ater that Cody (bum) and I walked around downtown and enjoyed being unshowered and unworking. Perhaps the french fries and frosties at the most disgusting Wendy's ever was too much. My laptop went kablammie, cutting off my right arm! If anyone wants to buy a girl a MAC, now would be the time! We meant to go to Hotel Solamar to check out the new rooftop/pool bar, but instead we watched the Exoricist prequel on pay per view and had an early night.
May 28-
I went to bed with the dog and woke up alone. I sat up stretched and said, it so good to be 28 on the 28th. I have no idea where the day went, but Cody and Steve-bot (his roommate) headed to the Liar's Club for dinner. I ate a boca burger it was good but I want a steak! After Liar's Club we headed to Can'es for The trail of dead show.
Trail of Dead - monotonous, just a hardcore show and not a very good one at that.
Internation Noise conspiracy- Good, but got old. And I don't care what they think about our government, I want music.
The surprise of the night and the starter was We Are Wolves from Canada. They were a ton of fun to hang out with. Alex and Vincent were tres cool! I'll post photos soon!
I came home to find my sweetie in bed waiting for me. A good end to a good birthday.
May 29 - Ricky and I went to Ole Madrid for some half-assed brunch with the worst service ever. Then he went back to work while Cody and I went on one of our Bitty Bums bike missions, again I'll post photos. Then Ricky and I went to a yummy thai place downtown. Rama is really romantic and the food is amazing. but Lotus Thai soup kicks Rama's butt! Then we went home and fell asleep on the couch.
May 30 -
I don't remember this day at all! But I'm sure it happened.
June 1 -
The Bitty Bums had a birthday dinner for me at the Corvette Diner. YUM! I had Mac N Cheese and some booze.
June 2 - The end of my Birthday...at the (fischer) spooner show, read the review on popmatters.com
And so that brings us all through my birthday. I hope ya'll enjoyed the show if you got to catch any of the live set!
