As a lot of you know I have been on a no sugar, no carb. diet for going on four weeks now. I did this for health reasons, and so far I have felt wonderful. A side plus to this new way of eating, is weight loss. I have lost 8 pounds so far. I am not starving myself, just eating well. The choices get boring, but I have just had to change the way I look at food. This is not for pleasure, just for nutrition.
However, I have had some kick ass meals as of late.
Saturday night we headed to schiavona and Karen's for a fantastic dinner of rice spaghetti with his moms famous sauce receipt, and planning time for the SGNC party in February.
Last night we had Kim and her family, and not_tom's roommate from UNC and his family over for not_tom's famous ribs. Today we will make soup for the week, and enjoy left overs, he made a lot of ribs!!
