So this weekend's theme must be in titled.... Crazy Bat time with good friends.
We met up with the wonderful kitschy and idjiit for dinner and great catch up time.
Then...
We were off to bed on Friday when not_tom looked up on our vaulted ceiling and there perched over our heads was a HUGE BAT!!
We had to call 911, and animal control who where both great and came out to get that thing off my ceiling and out of my house! It is on its way to be tested, and fingers crossed it come back negative for Rabies. We will have to go get the series of painful shots if it is positive. We will know Wednesday or Thursday!
Last night we went to the basement party of schiavona and his lovely wife. We had a blast and got to meet some great new folks as well as hang with some SGNC people. Then off to Kim's for great chat time around a fire. With cheese and wine we continued to make our friendship stronger.
This morning we headed over to another girl friends house, the one who shares pillow talk with me
, for brunch. She shared the wonderful photos she took of us all. If I did not think it would bite me on the ass to share, trust me I would. If you know me well enough
And want to see ask, and I will send it to you PRIVATELY!!
Any way it turned out GREAT way better than I thought it would!
So now I am off to pack for the field trip (two nights three days) to the beach with all our 5th grade classes.
Should be a wonderful bonding time, and I know I will be missing this place and all of you.

Wow, sounds like a very eventful weekend. Sorry I never returned your call (like 2 months ago). I think I suffer from phone aversion syndrome (I'm seeking help, I swear). Hope you're all doing well. I hope the bat does well too.
