Hello all.

Thank you if you read my last long-winded entry. If you didn't read it, I can't blame you. It's not like you haven't read countless other journal entries on the subject. But hey, I needed to vent.

Well I finally got the call back for a new job. I knew I'd get it all this time since the managers there know me and would love to have me, it was a little nerve-racking waiting for the fucktards at the corporate office to do the background check. It took a long time for them to find out about how.......clean my record is. Fucking red tape. Oh well, it will be nice to be working for a little bit more money closer to home at better hours of the day.

It's about damn time too. I've grown tired of the no-budget recreation plan I was on to save money in the meantime. I love to play video games on my SNES emulator on my comp, but not that damn much.

Once I get the new job squared away I think I might start saving up to get another guitar. My old Jackson guitar doesn't do it for me anymore. It still works and plays well, it's just that the body is so bulky to me now since I've been playing my Ibanez SA160. If I hadn't ended up so stuck between jobs I probably would have bought this Diamond Series Black Jeck Schecter guitar I saw at this guitar shop the next town over. It had a great neck, a sweet black finish, grove tuners, and Seymour Duncan pickups! I can't remember the price, but it seemed like a damn good deal. It also had five way pickup selecter. I prefer five-way because of the different distinctive tones it offers. It would be nice to have a guitar with two humbuckers for playing more rocking stuff and use my Ibanez for more melodic songs.

I've been hired again by a client for another recording gig. Hooray for a returning satisfied customer. Now I just have to get some taller mic stands, longer cords, and...budget permitting......this fucker:

I don't really need it for this next gig, but it would be certainly make life easier. Especially if I get more mic's and to use for recording this live show. The great thing about it is, the mics will just run into my Digi 002 rack, and this thing will control the levels. If I got a regular mixing board, I'd have to run the cables into it, then to the rack, and also have to worry about the board coloring the sound of what's being recorded. Way to go for DigiDesign when it comes to simplifying the middle man.

Nothing... and I mean NOTHING... was redeeming about that movie. Not even the T & A. And about the Mac...
