What a crazy trip. BBQ was great! I shot out the windows on some abandoned car in the hills( my redneck moment of the week!),went hiking up La Bajada, drove through the Jemez Mts and found a little puppy dumped out in the fucking middle of nowhere covered in ticks (check out the pics). It took us 3 hours to remove all the nasty bloated bloodsuckers. We stopped counting at around 100. She was so good the whole time. I was totally tired that night and I could not sleep- aside from her whining to go out every 2 or so hours ( she is pretty much house trained, but does have little pee accidents) all I could dream about was pulling ticks off puppies. Then I finally thought I was having a normal non tick dream about hiking in the hills I realize all the shrubs were really ticks embedded in the ground and i had to pull them out with these huge pruning shear things.... Anywho last night was a little quieter, and good thing to. I really want to keep this little poopy who I have dubbed "TICKle". Rob on the other hand does not so much. I mean I can understand seeing as how he has to get up friggin really early to drive to town for work, and the chewing, and the peeing. But I have only had her 2 days and she can already sit and lay down on command! And she wont be in that chewy annoying destroy puppy phase much longer.....Even if we don't keep her, there is a really good no kill shelter in town that will find a cutie like her a home right away! I am just so pissed that the asshole who dumped her was to fucking mean or ignorant to take her somewhere. Luckily she was near a stream and had water! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Anywho I am babysitting in an hour and then off to the big city to go and see the band searay. Late nights be fun!
