Sounds like a lot of stuff. Glad to hear from you. *hugs*

Given all that, I appreciate the comment you left on my blog. I think as a rule the real world is more important than any virtual version, and no apologies are needed. However, I wouldn't mind the feedback you said you had... what did you mean "we track very very closely" ?
So big news finally on the state of the summer. My dates for Rainier are set and I am traveling out to Seattle on the 18th of July. Which means I have five days to hike to the top of the mountain and back down. I can barely wait. This is going to be awesome.

HEY! How have you been???
I am becoming more and more listless these days. I have these lingering moments where I think I know what I want and then, it's gone and I can't remember. I have the dates for my Rainier climb now so I will be climbing Mt. Rainier on July 18-22, which is awesome. I got my new bike, I love it, it is like riding a...

I cheated and looked it up on wiki. Not sure I quite understand so perhaps further study is required...

Well I considered it cheating because you told me to read Barthes in your first post.
Sounds really interesting, though...I'll have to check it out
Man I love hanging out with my buddy Tony. So much fun, such great friends. Sometimes I really miss living in NYC sometimes I don't yesterday was a mixed bag. Today I will be in a gym in South Brooklyn, near Park Slope, spending a ton of time in the bottom of squat as instructors tell me why it isn't right. Happy Easter if that...

I am not sure if I am totally happy with the way it turned out.... but once it hits workshop and starts going through revisions it should be good. Sometimes when I write, the first draft is to hold the place of the poem that comes later.

Thanks! I arrived in January and Ill be in Turkey by May. Then its off to India in mid-June8
I ran a 5K today and did a workout that consisted of cleans and ring dips. I am cooked and shaking and can't feel anything below my belly button. Should I be concerned? The upshot is that I took 4 minutes off my 5K time and I took three minutes off my time for the cleans and dips workouts. I am gassed. Absolutely nothing left...

Dude! Right on.
You inspire me.
You inspire me.
I leave for NY on Friday after work and then I am going to a Crossfit certification. It is really strange to think about how much a gym has changed my life; but over the last couple of months I have become really aware of it and I just can't believe it hasn't been part of my life longer.
Since I started going to this...

Nice! Have a great time.
This has not been a good week. I don't have anything to say that sounds positive or upbeat. I finished reading a book called The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullmnan. It is part of the His Dark Materials trilogy which also includes The Golden Compass (aka Northern Lights in the UK). The book started off really slow, and it took me a good long...

In my fist I will catch a handful of Southwest air that smells of Springtime rain and snow. I will throw it your way, inhale deep and it should help.
Good choice on bikes! I was thinking of the same one, or a Kona. But I love all my vintage Schwinns. I havent started training yet, but I have started eating healthier
I hope to see the differences that you have...

So here's the deal. As I sit and watch the news, and stew about the economy and the way things are going and how much I detest the way people treat other people, I have been chewing, figuratively speaking, on a giant essay that I will post here when I am done with it. But in the meantime this is what you get:
I have...

I go through 5dozen eggs every three weeks or so, by myself! I love love love eggs. And meat. Mmmmmmmm. I dont run so well on too many veggies (yes, I eat them, quite a bit, actually) and carbs. Processed food just kills me.
I cannot wait to see this essay!

I would live an insiders opinion on what hotels are worth the price if you don't mind making that phone call!
I spent the weekend taking care of me. I went to see my grandfather in CT and then I picked up a truck that I am going to need when I go to school this fall.
I have been listening to a lot of the new Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs' album. Which is pretty durn amazing. I am a big fan of Karen O and I...

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, a revision of life. That may be an idea!
One of my jobs has a new customer service initiative that tracks customer satisfaction in three categories. Those that are "pained", those that are "merely satisfied", and those that are "delighted".
Customers are said to be "in pain" if things like answering the phone on the first ring, and not receiving a unique personal greeting, don't happen.
Seriously, I wonder what this means on a...

I hate odd marketing things like that. Irritating. And I agree, the harderst workers get the least amount of money, that is one of the weaknesses of American business.
Yeah, crazy about my friend. Totally unexpected, and a really tough weekend because of it. The whole group was in a down mode over it all.
When I am ready I will send you some things, hopefully soon.
