today sucked a fat log o' shite...
i went to the offices of my new employer to sign some papers, and get a walk through. my appointment was for 1:20, so i announced my presence and took a seat in the lobby. well, when 2:30 rolled around i was prety much seething. so after 5 minutes of bitching i was taken care of immediately. see what being nice gets you? absolutely nothing. i came to that conclusion sitting in the rush hour traffic. splendid.
now, 2 days to find an apartment or i will be gracing some cheap hotel for a few nights.. i'll have to get some quarters for the vibrating bed.

i love cheap motels. on my drive back from dallas, i spent a good hour trying to find a place that had a bar. i finally found one. i put my sixpack in the fridge, walked over to the bar and everyone stared at me. it was all truck drivers and some pretty stout lookin ladies. i had my bourbon and promptly went back to my sixpack. the whole place smelled like stale cigarettes, popcorn, and truckdriver armpit.
