my buddy turns 30 tomorrow, so tonight i'm trying to organize some sort of focussed chaos for tomorrow night. he's the first of my small circle of friends to hit 30, so this might get obscene. i'm trying to bring some of his out of town friends in for the occassion, but maybe i should have done that a week or two ago. i'm such a champion that way. nothing but last minute plans, i kind of like to wing it.
plus, i've been bumming around on my computer for the better part of the day.. listening to a combination of: mclusky- mclusky do dallas, and the velvet underground - white light white heat.

and to top off today's events i created my new sandwich combo "the canadian club sandwich".
just like a regular club, but the bacon is cooked in the pan with a mixture of maple syrup and rye. so good, and i didn't even set the place on fire.
