snow, snow, snow..
drove through some awful weather tonight, but it just doesn't matter.. in a great mood, and rummaging through my christmas booty.
l'homme au membre d'or... french is funny.

preparing myself for a boxing day liquorfest tomorrow...my buddy is coming in from out of town, and i think we're going on a week long bender.

boxing day update:

got the "law & order" box set for christmas.. fucking great. i loved that show until chris noth left..

done a whole lot of nothing today.. my friend from out of town flaked on me, he's not coming until january now..
playing a bunch of tony hawk 4.. the chicago level is great. bridge jumping is just cool.

i'm just glad there's no more john wayne on tv..

If I ever got the law and order boxed set I don't think I'd ever leave the house. It was like when I got the Twin Peaks series, I worked a full forty hour work week, and then came home to my other full time job of watching all the episodes in the remaining hours of the day. I did not sleep. I am not kidding. Boxed sets of good tv shows are dangerous things.

there was a picture of shania performing in canada on the news page today. it must have been outdoors, she had a puffy coat and a hat on. i gotta think the gift certificates made it all worth it - way out, i've never heard of anything like that. the certificates. they certainly don't do that here.

just last night i figured out chicago was a level you had to pay for but i fucked up and chose the carnival, which isn't so great from what i saw in a few minutes. and i'm like 4 grand short of another 15 for chicago. rough.

favorite john wayne movie quote: "i've never met a woman who was half as reliable as a horse" because it's just such a ridiculous thing to say.
