awoke from sleep, (about two whole hours worth) and i'm a little hung over. i usually don't get hungover but last night exceeded the norm.
my room was just the perfect temperature, nice fuzzy, warm blankets pulled up to my eyebrows. i could have laid there forever.

but no, i have a dentist appointment in about an hour or so. rude fucking awakening.

last time i was at the dentist i had my wisdom teeth removed, so this should be a cake walk.. have a big crush on my dental hygeinist too. so it should be funny when i roll in all unshaven, and smelling like booze.

i didn't see any vomitoriums, because i can guarantee i would have taken a picture, especially if i knew what it was at the time. not a puker, but that'd be funny to see someone having to work it. amsterdam was supposed to have these metal phonebooth type piss toilets all over the city due to public urination problems, but i don't remember seeing any. at one point i was looking.

also a huge fan of the drool sucker. i always think about the assistant hating the assignment to amuse myself. i would never be able to dig around in someone's mouth. i don't know how those people do it.

i'm totally convinced it's the greatest place i've ever visited. i liked that it's not all about debauchery in general, but it is all about the option. fucking great. they also don't assume that if you're all fucked up, you're going to do something fucked up and shouldn't be allowed to be out. free reign.

one thing i also noticed watching american tv (i'm a chump no matter where i go) with dutch subtitles is that they use less words, or maybe have less words? i don't know. but they do have a word gezellig (hezellik) that means roughly "an evironment that allows good times to happen." they have a word just for that. champion.
