Hmmm...
I am back in Los Angeles!

I had a bit of a freakout at the airport, and decided to head back to Los Angeles before I go to Amsterdam, I wanted to finish up a few things with our heart lock project before heading out - I haven't taken pictures yet, and need to get that out of the way so I can build a little site for them...

Yesterday was a very long inspirational day. I ditched out of the suite at 3 or so in the morning last night to ask for a wakeup call at 6:30AM so we could make it to Langley, Virginia for Isaac's Christening *note the timezone math...this is 3:30AM *ouch*. My father, step-mother, and little brother met my little sister, her boyfriend Mike and myself made our cranky, bleary eyed selves to the car. Isaac looked like an angel, I think he is the sweetest baby I have ever seen. In two days I didn't hear him cry, or fuss, just sleep and smile. We went back to our Aunt's for the reception, and had the opportunity to chat with a group of intelligent, powerful, amazing people.

Needless to say I was getting a bit grumpy by the time we got to the airport, and had a business class ticket, but the plane was completely full...every seat taken, and I ended up with a seat in coach. I was beginning to snap at my sister a little, and was generally feeling tired and cranky when this gorgeous girl came out of no where and said "I wanted to tell you how beautiful you are!"
*screech...crash... Uhhh....WOW
180 degree turnaround and beautiful girl induced mania ensued.
I changed my ticket to go to LA, and flew with my sister and her boyfriend back here. Her name is Jackie, and I hope to have lots of long e-mail chats with the girl...

As soon as I arrived in LA, I got a call from Rick who wanted to go sing at the Lava Lounge...He came down to pick me up, and we ended up with some extremely drunk girls from down south, who all work in a dungeon here in LA.
Once again, I met a beautiful Bettie Paige looking girl who used to work for RGA. We'll talk about this as well...
