Koleeta's Big Day Out:
I went outside yesterday. Isn't it GREAT!?
I went to the library and got lost...I really need to learn more about the dewey decimal system. I took three books. (sidenote:I'm watching crochunter...Burrowing Asps are cute! you know, those wittle bitty ol snakies?)
1. Station To Station - about train and subway stations, i like looking at pictures
2. Theatre Builders - about different theaters in the world. some of them are so fucking beautiful I can't STAND it. there is one in Charlotte Carlolina, Blumenthal Performing Arts Center all white and pretty on the inside and all glass in the outside.
3. The Un-Private Home - a book about open houses...meaning those that have no exterior walls or walls made of glass, things like that. Theres this one house in LA that is made of glass and it's really cool from the outside but the inside is fucking plywood. HOW UGLY!!!
After the Library I had to walk my books back to the Apt. and then went downtown to run some errands.
I stopped by The Music Store while I was in West Portal but I didn't really have money to spend to begin with. I was going to buy this one Beatles record, I think it was Can't Buy Me Love, it was only $20. One side was impeccable, but the other side, the one that had the good songs had some questionable scratches. I didn't ask the guy to play it because I wasn't supposed to be buying records anyway, so I just left it.
I watched 50 First Dates at julie's. It's actually a very good movie. I thought it was just going to be good for a laught, which it was, but it also had a really good story. Or maybe I've been out of Mr. Alvarez's (my drama/film teacher in high school) influence so long that everything seems to be less sucky. I really liked it though. hmm..
