minor dilemma
So there is going to be a screening of Roman Holiday at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Saturday night that I want to go to. On the same night my roommates are doing an installation at a gallery/theater that they're really excited about. I said I might check it out because I had forgotten about the cemetery screening.
So admission to the installation is $20. The movie screening asks for a $10 donation - which pretty much means you have to give them $10 I guess. I don't know what happens when you tell them you don't want to donate. I have no money as it is and I shouldn't be going to either.
What should I do? I want to go see the movie but I feel obligated to go to the art show and performance. I could say that the show is too expensive but I'm sure they could probably get me in for free. I feel bad because every time they have a performance they tell me about it and I never go and it's always sort of a "next time" thing for me.
hmmm...dilemma.
